faceLIFE is a collection of essays, photos, videos, links and other resources meant to encourage people to wake up — to look at and act on what speaks to them morally rather than institutionally. faceLIFE examines the social, economic, and political models that maintain their power through inertia, and offers moral and science-based alternatives to better fit our current era and serve the public interest. In setting ourselves on a path toward a more just, sustainable, and connected society, we are setting ourselves on a path toward spiritual awakening as well. Together: realization through re-definition.
This awakening exceeds mere “knowledge.” faceLIFE acknowledges that the internalization of these ideals is an intuitive wisdom, a spiritual awakening through our physical world.
Humankind is ready to wake up. On the precipice of both disaster and triumph, we are experiencing an era unparalleled by any in the history of our species. The state of the species and the state of the physical world are illuminating the areas in which we are falling short. We are being invited to wake up — the project of this generation, the project of NOW, is to accept the invitation.
