faceLIFE is a collection of essays, photos, videos, links and other resources meant to encourage people to wake up — to look at and act on what speaks to them morally rather than institutionally. faceLIFE examines the social, economic and political models that maintain their power through inertia, and offers moral and science-based alternatives to better fit our current era and serve the public interest. In putting ourselves on a path toward a more just, sustainable and connected society, we may find a spiritual awakening, as well. Together: realization through re-definition.
This awakening exceeds mere “knowledge.” faceLIFE acknowledges that the internalization of these ideals is an intuitive wisdom, a spiritual awakening through our physical world.
Humankind is ready to wake up. On the precipice of both disaster and triumph, we are experiencing the most interesting era in the history of our species. Preserving the species in harmony with nature is the project of this generation. It is the project of all projects.
